The renovation of 40 Heritage Residential Properties was awarded to Re-Gen and works commenced early 2019. Many of the properties in Spedan Close had tired and damaged kitchens which, in line with the scope required sympathetic restoration and rebuilding back to their original condition. Due to the status of these properties, tiled worktops and backsplashes also were to be retained and carefully restored. Our team carefully removed, re-grouted and refitted the original tiles, thus keeping the kitchen’s authentic characteristics. All rooms were refreshed by repainting the walls and installing new lino flooring.
Whilst undertaking the heritage works, we carried out extensive services and compliance testing / checks to ensure the properties were up to current standards. The necessary works following these surveys included full rewiring, new linked fire alarm and carbon monoxide systems.
