Project brief

Our contract was to reinstate 9 fire damaged flats and communal areas. The existing roof was stripped back to bare structure and scaffolding erected to allow a safe working platform. New replacement roof trusses and support beams were erected and the property made watertight. Large dehumidifiers were used to dry out the properties as the walls were saturated and a specific moisture level needed to be reached before works could continue. Steel beams were installed, marking out each flat internal parameters. Each flat and communal area had full Mechanical and Electrical installations including plumbing and pipework and electrical rewires. Customer consultations were completed to give the tenant the choice of kitchen and flooring finish. The finishing touches were added with the ornate chimney stack being craned onto the roof. Each property was handed over in 2 phases on time with no problems.
