Goldhurst Terrace, Camden

Goldhurst Terrace is a hostel located in Camden that required much needed improvement works externally.

Estate works including the balustrading, gates and railings were reconditioned by preparing and glossing. Externally, we raked out and repointed defective areas of the walls and chimney stacks.

For the roof, we renewed the lead flashing, dormer coverings, overhauled and repaired, or replaced various sections of the clay tiles. Additionally, the guttering and the asphalt were replaced. The team had the task to renew or repair the window frames and sills. All timber doors were overhauled as well as receiving a coat of gloss paint.

A full drainage CCTV survey was completed to identify any faults. The drains were jetted to unblock and clear them. Faults identified from the survey were repaired and the soil stacks were replaced where required.
