Re-Gen were appointed to carry out fire compliance works at this sheltered housing scheme in the borough of Camden.
Our team began the project by carrying out asbestos surveys and removed. Following this, fire risk assessments were carried out in the communal areas and the properties. Our FIRAS trained team installed new communal and fire rated front doors to the block.
Internal works comprised of the installation of an AICO alarm system, replacement of fire rated windows in the communal areas, as well as a new fire alarm system. The team provided electric door closers which were linked to the communal alarms. New signage was put up in the communal areas and we fitted new compartmentation hatches.
